Sr. Technician, Manufacturing

Description of Duties:

  • Performs cGMP manufacturing of R&D, Pre-Clinical, and Clinical products.
  • Assembles, operates, cleans, and maintains production equipment.
  • Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to assure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
  • Maintains records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assists with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.
  • Exhibits attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
  • Performs assigned operations with 100% compliance to current written documentation and cGMP standards.
  • Communicates effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
  • Maintains inventory of required items in assigned area and initiates purchase orders as needed.
  • Promotes cohesive, team oriented atmosphere within the Manufacturing Department and externally via interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Assists with resolving technical issues, troubleshooting equipment, and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Assists with department documentation such as discrepancy reports, out of tolerance reports, change control, and corrective action reports, etc.
  • Reviews and revises all departmental documents, including MBR's and SOP's, to ensure compliance with cGMP, Sangart policies, and current procedures.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and NLT 2 years experience with cGMP Pharmaceutical manufacturing. Parenteral pharmaceutical/sterile filling experience preferred.
  • Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must have good handwriting and communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
