Technician IV (Lead)

Description of Duties:

• Performs cGMP manufacturing of R&D, Pre-Clinical, and Clinical products.
• Assembles, operates, cleans, and maintains production equipment.
• Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to assure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
• Maintains records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Exhibits attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Performs assigned operations with 100% compliance to current written documentation and cGMP standards.
• Maintains inventory of required items in assigned area and initiates purchase orders.
• Builds trusting relationships and promotes cohesive, team oriented atmosphere within the Manufacturing Department and externally via interdepartmental cooperation.
• Leads daily operations by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic with impeccable punctuality, attendance, competency and personal productivity.
• Assists with resolving technical issues, troubleshooting equipment, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Completes documentation such as discrepancy reports, out of tolerance reports, change control, and corrective action reports, etc.
• Reviews and revises all departmental documents, including MBR's and SOP's, to ensure compliance with cGMP, Sangart policies, and current operations.

Job Qualifications:

• BS degree in a science, or 4-5 years relevant work experience.
• NLT 5 years experience with cGMP Pharmaceutical manufacturing. Parenteral pharmaceutical/sterile filling experience preferred.
• Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well-organized effective communicator with the ability to understand system concepts and communicate their applications.
• Must have good handwriting and communication skills.
• Technical writing and computer skills.
