Analytical Development Chemist II

Description of Duties:

• Develop, qualify and validate analytical test methods for drug product, intermediates and excipients.
• Design and execute analytical development studies.
• Write technical reports.
• Write analytical method validation protocols and reports.
• Write and maintain applicable SOPs.
• Provide analytical support to QC, as applicable.
• Provide analytical support to Process Development and Manufacturing.
• Perform data review the vendors.
• Assist management during Regulatory inspections and internal audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Analytical Development.

Job Requirements:

• BS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on GXP experience.
• Experience with variety of analytical techniques, method development and validation. (HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Karl-Fischer moisture analysis;LCMS, GCMS, NMR experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience in HPLC, GC, MS.
• Excellent record keeping skills.
• Detailed oriented and outstanding organization skills.
• Ability to work under aggressive timelines and multiple task assignments.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and computer skills.
